Now part of 3M's advanced wound care portfolio, Acelity dressings are built for clinicians and caregivers managing exuding, chronic, and hard-to-heal wounds — pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, surgical sites, and donor areas. The line brings together non-adhering contact layers and gelling fiber technologies that protect fragile wound beds while handling drainage, so dressing changes stay gentle and the healing environment stays balanced.

Choosing between the Acelity dressings comes down to how the wound behaves. For a low-adherent primary layer over sutures, skin tears, or grafts, Adaptic Non-adhering Dressings come in a 3-inch by 60-inch roll you can cut to size, lifting away without disturbing new tissue. When a wound is producing moderate to heavy exudate, KerraCel Absorbent Dressings use carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) that gels on contact to lock in fluid and conform to the wound surface — available as 2" x 2" and 6" x 6" squares for flat wounds, and as a 1" x 18" ribbon for packing cavities, tunnels, and undermined areas.

Where infection is a concern or the bioburden is high, KerraCel AG adds ionic silver to the same gelling-fiber base for sustained antimicrobial action. It's stocked as a 4" x 5" rectangle for larger wounds and as ¾" ribbons in 12-inch and 18-inch lengths for deeper, contoured spaces. All KerraCel dressings are sterile, non-adhesive, and designed to minimize maceration of the surrounding skin.
