The Aquaflush® Transanal Irrigation (TAI) System is a simple procedure that assists in the safe evacuation of stool from the lower bowel using body-temperature water. The system passes water through a soft silicone cone to gently stretch the rectal wall, creating the urge to defecate. Once the water flow is stopped using the in-line tap, the cone is removed, and waste empties into the toilet. This monthly set provides everything needed for the procedure, including a water bag with a pump, 15 short-size silicone cones, lubricant sachets, and disposal bags.
