This collection covers both families in the Atrauman line. The original Atrauman impregnated dressings use a hydrophobic polyester tulle coated with a non-medicated ointment based on triglycerides. That ointment is neutral — no petrolatum, no active drug — so it keeps the wound margins supple and the mesh non-stick without interfering with topical treatments you apply alongside it. You'll find these sterile dressings in a full range of sizes, from small 2" x 2" squares (499510) for minor or awkward-to-cover areas, through the versatile 3" x 4" (499513) and 4" x 4" (499514), up to the large 8" x 12" (499515) sheets for extensive wounds, plus a 4" x 8" (499536) option for longer incisions and lower-leg wounds.

For fragile or sensitive skin — think skin tears, blistered areas, or patients who react to adhesives — the Atrauman Silicone range adds a soft silicone coating that grips surrounding intact skin gently while staying off the wound itself. The 2" x 3" (499568) and 3" x 4" (499562) sizes reposition without tearing new epithelium, which makes them a practical choice when dressings need frequent inspection.

Both types are non-occlusive, so they work under gauze, foams, or superabsorbent pads and suit a broad mix of wounds: superficial burns, abrasions, donor and graft sites, ulcers, and post-surgical incisions.
