Carolina Narrow Fabric Splinting Supplies

When a clinician needs to immobilize a fracture or stabilize a soft-tissue injury quickly, the material has to do two things at once: conform to the limb and set with reliable strength. Carolina Narrow Fabric Parker Splints are built for exactly that moment, combining fiberglass casting technology with a soft, pre-applied padding layer so orthopedic and emergency staff can apply a supportive splint in a single step.

This collection features the Parker Splints Padded Splint Rolls in white fiberglass, available in two widths to match different anatomical needs. The 2-inch x 15-foot roll (PS2L2) works well for smaller limbs, fingers, wrists, and pediatric applications, while the 4-inch x 15-foot roll (PS4L2) covers larger areas such as forearms, lower legs, and ankles. Both are non-sterile and supplied in generous 15-foot lengths, giving providers enough material to cut multiple splints from a single roll.

The advantage of a padded fiberglass roll is that the cushioning is already bonded to the splinting material, so there's no need to layer stockinette and cast padding separately before application. Once activated with water, the fiberglass hardens into a lightweight, durable support that holds its shape without the bulk of traditional plaster. That translates to faster application times in busy urgent care, orthopedic, and ER settings, and a more comfortable fit against the patient's skin.

Because Parker Splints are non-sterile, they're intended for external splinting and immobilization rather than open-wound or surgical use. Facilities typically stock both widths so staff can select the right size on the spot and reduce material waste.
