ColPaC Cold Packs
ColPaC reusable cold packs are a clinic-grade staple for cold therapy — the same blue gel packs you'll find chilling in physical therapy freezers and athletic training rooms. Filled with a silica gel that stays pliable when frozen, they mold to shoulders, knees, backs, and other contours instead of sitting rigid against the skin. Store them in a standard freezer (or a dedicated chilling unit), and each pack delivers up to 30 minutes of consistent cold to control swelling, dull acute pain, and calm inflammation after injury or activity.
Choosing a size comes down to the area you're treating. The Standard (11" x 14", #1500) covers larger regions like the low back or thigh, while the Half Size (7.5" x 11", #1506) and Quarter Size (5.5" x 7.5", #1504) suit knees, elbows, and smaller joints. For narrow areas the Small 3" x 11" (#1502) wraps wrists and ankles, and the Oversize packs (#1512, #00-1556) handle broad coverage across the back or hips. Targeted contoured options include the Neck ColPaC (#1508, #00-1554), shaped to drape around the cervical spine, and the Eye/Face Mask (#1510) for sinus pressure, headaches, and post-procedure facial swelling.
You'll see two shell materials here: classic vinyl and a more durable polyurethane. Both are reusable for years of repeated freeze cycles. Because the gel gets very cold, always place a damp towel or cover between the pack and bare skin, and limit application to 15–20 minutes to protect against ice burn.
