Comperm LF Tubular Bandages
Getting the right size is the whole game with tubular bandages, and Comperm LF is built around that. This cotton/polyester elasticated tube delivers gentle, standard compression that holds dressings in place, supports strains and sprains, and secures retention over joints and awkward-to-wrap areas—without the fuss of taping or wrapping in circles. It simply pulls on, conforms to the limb, and stays put.
Sizing follows the familiar letter system, and the right choice depends on the body part, not guesswork. The narrower rolls—Size B (2.5") and Size C (2.75")—suit fingers, hands, and small children's limbs. Size D (3") and Size E (3.5") work well on arms and lower legs, while Size F (4") and Size G (5") handle larger legs and knees. For thighs, and the largest limbs or trunk applications, Size J (7") and Size K (8.5") give the coverage you need. When you're between sizes, choose based on a snug-but-not-restrictive fit; the bandage should apply light pressure without leaving deep marks or cutting off circulation.
Every size comes in an 11-yard length, so a single roll cuts into multiple applications—economical for clinics managing wound care or for ongoing home use. The natural cotton-blend construction breathes against the skin, launders and reuses well, and layers cleanly under clothing. These bandages are non-sterile, making them ideal as a secondary retention layer over a primary sterile dressing rather than for direct contact with open wounds.
Because it's tubular, Comperm LF is especially practical for double-layering to increase compression, or for cutting shorter sleeves that patients can apply themselves. That ease of use makes it a staple for burn aftercare, dermatological treatments, edema management, and general dressing retention.
