Abbott Liquid Protein Fortifier is a commercially sterile, extensively hydrolyzed liquid protein fortifier for easy digestion and absorption (the same protein source as Similac Alimentum) in a convenient, multi-serving bottle for preterm infants who may require additional protein to meet their specific needs. This unique formula is designed to be mixed with human milk, fortified human milk, or formula feedings with minimal displacement, and since it is liquid, it eliminates the need for powder mixing and meets Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations to reduce risk of contamination.
