Eson 2 Nasal CPAP Mask Components

Fisher & Paykel's Eson 2 nasal mask is built around a replaceable seal system, which means you rarely need to buy a whole new mask when only one part wears out. This collection focuses on the components that keep an Eson 2 sealing quietly and comfortably night after night — starting with the Eson 2 Nasal Mask Seal in Small (400ESN214), a clear, single-patient-use cushion designed to snap onto the existing frame.

If you've been waking up to air leaks, red pressure marks across the bridge of your nose, or a mask that whistles as therapy pressure rises, the seal is usually the culprit. The soft silicone cushion is the part that contacts your face directly, and it gradually loses its shape and grip with nightly use, cleaning, and skin oils. Most CPAP users replace the seal roughly every one to three months to keep therapy effective and the fit forgiving.

Getting the size right matters more than anything else here. The Eson 2 seal comes in Small, Medium, and Large, and sizing is based on nostril width rather than face size — a smaller person can still need a larger seal. Fisher & Paykel includes a sizing guide with new masks; if you're between sizes or your current seal leaves gaps at the nostrils, sizing down often improves the seal. The 400ESN214 is the Small option, well suited to narrower nasal profiles.

Because this is a single-patient-use component, it's intended for one person rather than shared across a household or clinic. Keeping a spare seal on hand means you're never stuck troubleshooting leaks the night an old cushion finally gives out. Clean it gently with mild soap and warm water, let it air dry away from direct sunlight, and inspect it regularly for stiffness or discoloration.
