Grip-Lok Catheter & Tubing Securement Devices
Every dislodged line means an interrupted therapy, a re-stick, and added risk to the patient. Grip-Lok securement devices from Tidi Products replace sutures and improvised tape with a purpose-built anchor that holds catheters and tubing firmly in place while keeping the insertion site visible and the surrounding skin healthy. Honest Medical carries the full range so clinicians can match the device to the line — from delicate peripheral catheters to CVCs, PICCs, and drains.
Choosing the right size comes down to your tubing diameter and the length of line you need to secure. The Grip-Lok Small (3200S) handles universal catheters and tubing in the 4.5 mm to 14 Fr range on a 3-inch pad. The Medium 3300M covers a 1/8- to 5/16-inch tubing range with a hypoallergenic, latex-free skin-contact adhesive, while the Medium Wide-Adhesive 3300MWA is engineered specifically for CVC, PICC, and drain securement where a broader footprint gives extra hold. For larger lines and longer runs, the Large 3400L secures 1/4- to 1/2-inch tubing across a 6-1/2-inch device.
All of these are sterile, latex-free, and designed to be repositionable so a line can be inspected or adjusted without a full replacement — a practical advantage over rigid taping. Because the adhesive is hypoallergenic and the design lifts the tubing off the skin, they help reduce the pressure points and medical-adhesive irritation that come with taped-down catheters. The 2200NUZA is another CVC, PICC, and drain option for facilities standardizing their securement protocol.
If you're comparing securement and grip products, you may also want to look at BD Luer-Lok connectors for leak-resistant line connections, or grip-focused exam gloves such as Diamond Grip and Comfort Grip.
