The Aquaflush® Transanal Irrigation (TAI) System is a simple procedure that assists in the safe evacuation of stool from the lower section of the bowel. It works by passing body-temperature water through a soft silicone cone, which gently stretches the rectal wall and produces the urge to defecate. This Lite/Standard Monthly Set provides everything needed for the procedure, including a water bag with a pump, 16 standard-size silicone cones, lubricant sachets, and disposal bags. A hand pump and in-line tap give you full control over the water flow. Once the water flow stops and the cone is removed, fecal matter and water empty into the toilet.
