3M Tegaderm Thin Hydrocolloid Dressing may be used as a protective dressing on at-risk skin. May be used on intact skin to protect from friction. The film border on these oval sizes seals to prevent premature dressing failure due to edge lift. 3M Tegaderm Thin Hydrocolloid Dressing protects the wound and periwound skin from contaminants, body fluids, bacteria and viruses. In vitro testing shows that the transparent film provides a viral barrier from viruses 27 nm in diameter or larger while the dressing remains intact without leakage.
