The outer layer is a semi-permeable, polyurethane film backing that allows the essential circulation of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water vapor, while simultaneously forming a barrier against external contaminants like germs and water. This proprietary gelling formulation effectively manages light to moderately exuding partial and full-thickness wounds, including pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and second-degree burns. With a flexible, low-friction, and moisture-resistant film backing, these latex-free dressings can be used as both primary and secondary dressings for up to 7 days.
