Their limited stretch is what produces the low-resting/high-working pressure profile suited to ambulatory patients. The LoPress Clip Detached Closure Elastic Bandages (42500000, tan cotton, 12 cm x 5 m) offer more give for general support and secondary retention, with a clip closure that fastens without pins or tape.

Choosing between them comes down to the therapy: reach for the inelastic short-stretch bandages when the goal is graduated compression therapy for edema or ulcer management, and the elastic version when you need conforming support or to hold a dressing in place.
