Medical Indicators manufactures single-use, phase-change thermometers built for the realities of clinical infection control. When cross-contamination is a concern and disposable simplicity matters, their NexTemp line delivers accurate temperature readings without batteries, calibration, or the reprocessing burden of electronic probes.
The centerpiece of this collection is the NexTemp Single Patient Skin Thermometer (1112-20), a chemical-dot device that reads oral temperatures in one minute and axillary in three. It covers the clinically relevant 96 to 104°F range in 0.1°F increments, with an accuracy of +/- 0.2°F. Instead of a digital screen, a matrix of color-changing dots displays the reading—the last dot to change color indicates the patient's temperature. That design means nothing to charge, nothing to fail, and a fresh device for every patient.
