Geri-Care Milk of Magnesia Liquid contains the active ingredient Magnesium Hydroxide (1200mg) and is mint flavored. This medication generally produces a bowel movement in 1/2 to 6 hours. You should not use this medication for more than one week unless directed by a doctor. Suitable for those 6 years and older.
Each 15 mL tablespoonful contains: Magnesium 500 mg.
Shake well before using. Follow dosing directions or use as directed by a physician. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Dose may be taken once a day preferably at bedtime, in divided doses, or as directed by a doctor. Drink a full glass of water (8oz) of liquid with each dose. Ages 12 years and older should take 2-4 tablespoonfuls. Children 6 to 11 years old should take 1-2 tablespoonfuls. Consult a doctor for those under 6 years old.
Inactive Ingredients: Mint flavor, purified water, saccharin sodium, sodium hypochlorite.
