This Primer Modified Unna Boot with Calamine is a 100%, soft, non-raveling thread-locked, cotton gauze bandage that has been evenly impregnated with a non-hardening, zinc oxide paste. It is ideal for managing venous stasis ulcers, lymphatic edema, minor sprains, strains, fractures, thrombophlebitis, and skin grafts on burn wounds, and it is also indicated for use to dry the oozing and weeping of poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumac as well as for managing extremities (e.g. varicose ulcers) requiring protection and support. Plus, this bandage is made without preservatives and gelatin which would prevent the hardening or caking of the bandage and packaged in a unique, vacuum-sealed pouch.
