Cutimed Sorbion Sorbact dressings are designed for effective wound management, utilizing Sorbact® Technology to bind and remove bacteria. The hydrophobic, DACC™-coated wound contact layer works in conjunction with a superabsorbent core to manage exudate, creating an optimal healing environment. This core absorbs and retains large amounts of fluid, even under compression, minimizing the risk of maceration and promoting moist wound healing. These dressings can be left in place for up to 7 days, reducing the frequency of changes. If the dressing adheres to the wound upon removal, moistening it can help prevent disruption of the healing tissue. Cutimed Sorbion Sorbact supports effective healing by managing both bacterial load and exudate levels.
