Norm-Ject Syringes
Norm-Ject syringes from AirTite are all-plastic, latex-free syringes prized in laboratories, veterinary settings, and industrial applications where sample purity matters. Made entirely from polypropylene barrels and polyethylene plungers, they contain no rubber, silicone oil, or lubricant — which means nothing leaches into your fluid and nothing compromises sensitive assays, chromatography samples, or reactive solvents.
The absence of a rubber plunger tip is the whole point for many buyers. Standard syringes rely on a silicone-lubricated rubber gasket that can contaminate delicate media or react with aggressive chemicals. Norm-Ject's clean two-part design eliminates that variable, making these a go-to for HPLC prep, cell culture work, and dispensing acids, solvents, and other agents that would degrade conventional syringe components.
Our current offering is the AirTite Norm-Ject 1 mL syringe with a Luer slip tip (flat-top plunger style, sterile, individually disposable, no safety mechanism). The 1 mL size and slip tip suit precise measuring, gentle dispensing, and easy connection to needles or filters. Clear barrel graduations let you draw accurate volumes, and the sterile packaging supports use in controlled environments.
A common question: is a Luer slip tip right for your task? Slip tips let you attach and detach fittings quickly and are ideal for low-pressure dispensing; if you need a locking connection for higher-pressure work, a Luer lock version would serve better. Note these are supplied without a needle and without a safety guard, so they're intended for research, dispensing, and non-injection lab use rather than clinical patient injections.
