Nutren Junior Fiber includes Prebio1 to help promote a healthy gut microbiota, and it is a complete tube feeding or oral supplement which supplies soluble and insoluble fiber specifically designed to meet the nutrition needs of children from ages one to thirteen. Nutren Junior Fiber includes a blend of 2.2 grams per liter of Prebio1 soluble fiber to promote the growth of beneficial bacteria; 3.8 grams per liter of insoluble fiber to support normal bowel function; and 50% whey protein to promote tolerance, and it meets the 2011 IOM recommendations for calcium and vitamin D. Plus, this unique formula provides nutritional support for children with bowel management needs, growth failure, malnutrition, or short- or long-term tube feeding needs, and it is suitable for lactose-free, gluten-free, and kosher diets; however, it is not designed for individuals with galactosemia and is intended for use under medical supervision.
