Choosing between latex, polyisoprene, and neoprene

The Protexis Blue with Neu-Thera gloves are polyisoprene—a synthetic that mimics the stretch and feel of natural rubber latex without the latex proteins, making them a strong choice for latex-sensitive environments. Their signature feature is the Neu-Thera emollient coating on the inside, which conditions hands during long procedures and helps reduce the skin dryness that comes with hours of gloving. They run 0.20 mm (7.9 mil) with a smooth finish and beaded cuff, in sizes from 6 through 8.5.

For teams that still prefer natural rubber latex, Protexis Classic gloves deliver a cream-colored latex glove with a standard cuff and smooth surface. And when chemotherapy drug handling is part of the workflow, the Protexis Polychloroprene gloves (formerly Duraprene Plus) are chemo-tested, hand-specific, and slightly thinner at 0.17 mm for enhanced fingertip sensitivity.

Sizing and sterility
