This Rapid collection brings together the 3M Attest Rapid Readout line of biological indicators — the enzyme-based BIs that let central sterile technicians release loads in hours instead of the two-day incubation older systems demanded.

Every product here monitors sterilization efficacy by challenging the cycle with resistant Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores, then signaling a pass or fail through a fluorescent enzyme read on a compatible Attest auto-reader. Read times vary by design, so match the indicator to your workflow:

• Attest 1291 & 1292 vials — steam monitoring with a 1-hour (270°F) or 3-hour (250°F/270°F) read, ideal for daily gravity and pre-vacuum cycle verification.
• Attest 1295 vials — the 24-minute read designed for vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VH2O2) sterilizers, with a blue-to-pink color shift.
• Attest Rapid 5 & Super Rapid 5 challenge packs (41382, 41482V) — ready-to-use Steam-Plus packs that combine a Class 5 integrating indicator with the biological indicator, so you document physical, chemical, and biological monitoring in a single test.
• Attest 1296 packs and 1491 vials — additional steam configurations covering 250°F through 275°F temperature ranges.

All of these indicators are not made with natural rubber latex, and each color-change window (rose to brown, pink to light brown, yellow to brown) gives a fast visual reference alongside the reader result.
