The Rhino Rocket from Stradis Healthcare is a self-expanding nasal packing system designed to control anterior epistaxis quickly, with an integrated applicator that lets clinicians place the pack in a single motion. Made from PVA Expandacell foam, the pack expands on contact with fluid to apply gentle, even pressure against the bleeding site — no awkward layering of ribbon gauze required.

Each unit arrives sterile and ready to deploy, making it a practical stock item for emergency departments, ENT clinics, urgent care, and ambulances. The applicator design means less fumbling during a time-sensitive procedure, and the foam's controlled expansion helps achieve hemostasis while remaining comfortable enough for the patient to tolerate until removal.

Sizing is the main decision point. We carry the small 1 x 3 x 3 cm pack for shorter nasal cavities and more contained bleeds, and the 1 x 3 x 5 cm length for deeper placement and broader coverage. Both are available with an applicator, and a version without applicator is offered for clinicians who prefer their own placement technique. Choosing the right length up front reduces the need to re-pack and improves patient comfort.

Because the Expandacell foam expands only after insertion, it can be positioned dry and precisely before pressure builds — a meaningful advantage over pre-inflated balloon packs in tight or angled cavities. For removal, the foam rehydrates easily to ease extraction and minimize re-bleeding.
