The Satin-Slip name refers to the stylet's low-friction coated surface, which allows it to slide freely within the tube lumen and withdraw cleanly once the tube is placed, without dragging or disturbing tube position. The malleable core lets you bend the stylet into a hockey-stick, straight-to-cuff, or custom configuration and have it retain that curve reliably during laryngoscopy.
