The silicone contact layer adheres gently to intact skin around the wound while releasing cleanly — no tearing at fragile edges, no pulling away newly formed tissue. That makes them a practical choice for pressure injuries, skin tears, surgical sites, leg ulcers, and other moderate-to-heavy exuding wounds where the surrounding skin is already vulnerable.

The absorbent foam core draws up exudate and locks it away from the wound bed, helping maintain a moist healing environment while the waterproof, breathable film backing acts as a barrier against outside contamination and lets the dressing stay put through movement and light showering.
