For draining or cavity wounds, the Silverlon Calcium Alginate Dressings (available as 2" x 2", 4" x 4¾", 4" x 8", and 8" x 12" pads plus a ¾" x 12" rope, CA-475 through CA-812) absorb exudate while conforming to the wound bed. Deep or tunneling wounds call for the Silverlon Wound Packing Strip (1" x 24", WPS124), and the Silverlon Wound Contact Dressing (WCD-22) lays a pure metallic silver layer directly against the wound as a non-adherent primary contact. For simpler closed or lightly draining sites, the Silver Island Dressing (ID-410) combines a foam pad with an adhesive border for all-in-one coverage.
