Surface Safe Disinfectant Wipes
When you need to disinfect hard, non-porous surfaces between patients or after a spill, Cardinal Health Surface Safe delivers a bleach-based clean without the bulk of a spray bottle and paper towels. This collection features premoistened sodium hypochlorite wipes designed for fast surface disinfection in clinics, exam rooms, and home care settings where turnover speed and reliable kill claims both matter.
The active formula combines sodium hypochlorite with sodium thiosulfate and benzyl alcohol — a chlorine-scented blend built to disinfect while the wipe stays wet long enough to meet contact time. Because these are premoistened and disposable, there's no diluting, no measuring, and no risk of using a cloth that's already contaminated. You pull a wipe, clean the surface, and discard it.
Two formats cover most needs. The Surface Safe Soft Pack (SS33508) offers 5-1/2 x 10 inch non-sterile wipes in a compact soft pack that's easy to keep at a bedside or workstation. For grab-and-go convenience, the Surface Safe premoistened double packets (box of 15) give you individually sealed portions ideal for mobile carts, bags, or infrequently used rooms where a full canister would dry out before you finish it.
A few practical notes buyers ask about: bleach-based wipes are intended for hard, non-porous surfaces — not skin — and you should always let the treated surface stay visibly wet for the disinfectant's full contact time before wiping dry. Store packets sealed to preserve moisture, and check compatibility with sensitive equipment finishes before routine use.
For skin and patient-contact cleaning that bleach isn't meant for, pair these with products from our Patient Safe and Safe and Soft collections. Facilities standardizing their disinfection routine often stock Surface Safe alongside both.
