Surgitube Tubular Gauze Bandages & Retainer Dressings

When a dressing needs to stay put on a finger, toe, elbow, or head without wrapping and taping, Surgitube tubular gauze does the work that a flat bandage can't. This seamless, elasticated cotton tubing slips over a wound and holds gauze or ointment in place while flexing with the body part, making it a mainstay in wound clinics, podiatry offices, and home care.

The key to using Surgitube well is matching the size to the anatomy. Sizes run from Size 1 (5/8 inch) for small fingers and toes, through Size 2 and 3 for hands, wrists, and feet, up to Size 4 and 5P for arms, lower legs, shoulders, breasts, and head. We stock familiar SKUs like the Size 1 GL-110W for digits, the Size 3 GL221 for hands and wrists, and the wider GL-245 for larger areas.

Applicator or no applicator?

Products are labeled for use with an applicator (such as the beige GL-212 and GL209) or without one (the "W" and "P" white styles like GL-405W and GL-241). Applicator versions let you draw multiple layers over an area quickly and cleanly, which matters for facilities dressing many patients; the without-applicator rolls suit simpler finger and toe coverage. Choosing correctly saves technique headaches at the bedside.

All Surgitube gauze here is latex-free, made from breathable cotton that lets skin breathe while securing primary dressings. Note that these tubular retainer dressings are non-sterile retention products—they hold your wound dressing rather than serving as the sterile contact layer.
