Suture Strip Wound Closure Strips
Suture strips are adhesive skin closure strips that hold the edges of a minor wound or surgical incision together without the puncture of sutures or staples. They're the everyday choice for closing small lacerations, reinforcing a wound after stitches are removed, or reducing tension across healing skin — a gentler approach that lowers the risk of scarring and infection at needle sites.
This collection centers on the Derma Sciences / Integra LifeSciences Suture Strip Plus line and the Gentell Suture Strip. The Suture Strip Plus Flexible strips (TP1100, TP1101, TP1105) are made from non-woven polyamide, are latex-free, water resistant, and flex with the body's movement so they stay put over joints and mobile areas. The Gentell TS3101 offers a sterile, flexible tan strip in the popular 1/4 x 3 inch size for routine closures.
Sizing is the practical question most buyers weigh. Narrow strips such as the 1/8 x 3 inch (TP1100) suit small facial or fine-skin wounds where a discreet, low-profile closure matters; the standard 1/4 x 3 inch (TP1101, TS3101) covers the majority of general lacerations; and the wider 1 x 5 inch (TP1105) is built for longer incisions or areas needing more holding surface and skin-tension distribution. Applied perpendicular across a cleaned, dry wound with a small gap between strips, they let the site breathe and drain while healing.
All strips ship sterile in tan, blending with skin tone, and are designed to lift away cleanly as the wound closes — no removal appointment required. For higher-volume and specialty closure needs, you can also review our Ethicon Non-Suture products.
