TruCath Oasis Ready-to-Use Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheters
Self-catheterization is easier when the catheter is truly ready the moment you open it. The TruCath Oasis line skips the water-activation step and hydration wait that many hydrophilic catheters require — the coating comes pre-hydrated in the package, so you can catheterize right away, whether you're at home, at work, or traveling.
Each TruCath Oasis catheter features a hydrophilic-coated PVC surface that becomes slick and low-friction on contact, reducing discomfort and helping protect the delicate lining of the urethra with repeated daily use. The integrated TruProtect grip gives you a no-touch handling point, so you can insert the catheter without contaminating the tube — an important habit for lowering the risk of urinary tract infections that concerns anyone catheterizing several times a day.
These catheters carry a coudé (curved) tip, designed to navigate more challenging anatomy such as an enlarged prostate, urethral narrowing, or difficult angles where a straight tip can be hard to pass. The tip is often what users search for by name, and it's worth matching to your clinician's guidance.
We stock the popular sizes in a 16-inch length suited to male anatomy:
- 14 Fr (RH1416C) — coudé tip with TruProtect grip, a common middle-of-the-road French size.
- 16 Fr (RH1616C) — orange-coded coudé tip for a wider bore when higher flow is needed.
French size refers to the outer diameter of the catheter; larger numbers drain faster but should be chosen with your prescriber to balance comfort and function. Color coding on the funnel makes it quick to grab the right size from a supply drawer.
