Ansell Ultrasense Nitrile Exam Gloves

The Ansell Ultrasense line delivers lightweight nitrile exam gloves built for clinicians who wear gloves shift after shift and need them to disappear on the hand. At 0.12 mm (4.7 mil), these blue, powder-free nitrile gloves are thin enough to preserve tactile sensitivity for fine tasks like starting IVs or handling small instruments, while still providing the barrier protection and puncture resistance that latex-free nitrile is known for. Textured fingertips improve wet and dry grip, and the beaded cuff resists roll-down and makes donning easier.

Every Ansell Ultrasense glove here is non-sterile and ambidextrous, so a single box covers general exam, triage, and clinical handling without sorting left from right. Sizing runs from Small (US-220-S) through Medium (US-220-M) up to X-Large (US-220-XL), letting a practice or facility standardize on one glove family across a team with different hand sizes. Note that the standard Ultrasense is not chemo-rated — if you handle hazardous drugs, that's an important distinction to check against your protocol.

A common question is how Ultrasense differs from the related Ultrasense EC gloves. The EC version is formulated to reduce chemical accelerators, making it a better fit for wearers with sensitivity to the residual chemicals sometimes found in nitrile — worth considering if staff report contact irritation. For most everyday exam use, the standard Ultrasense offers the comfort and value that make it a workhorse choice.

Because these are ordered by the box and case, they suit both individual practitioners and facilities buying in volume. Choose your sizes across Small, Medium, and X-Large to keep every gloved hand fitted correctly and comfortable through a full day.
