The 3M Coban Cohesive Bandage is a laminate of non-woven material and elastic fibers placed lengthwise to provide elasticity thus creating a self-adherent, elastic wrap that functions like tape but sticks only to itself without the need for adhesive, pins, or clips. This secure wrap stays in place thus eliminating the need for frequent readjustment. This versatile wrap may be used to secure and protect primary dressings and other devices; compress or protect wound sites; help immobilize injuries and provide compression; and it is comfortable, lightweight, porous, and breathable.
