It obtains non-invasive measurements in as little as six seconds and emits an audible tone once the temperature has been read. The thermometer displays readings in either Fahrenheit or Celsius, and its auto-off feature helps conserve battery power. For easy comparison, the last recorded temperature is accessible, and its portable, handheld design makes it convenient for carrying and transportation.
