The Elasto-Gel Hot/Cold Wrap is reusable and covered with a four-way stretch material that allows for heat transfer and comfort while also providing it with the ability to conform to all contoured areas and move with patient movement; once the wrap is secured in place, patients can move about freely. It may be used for hot or cold treatments, and it will retain its temperature for 20-30 minutes; staying soft and flexible the entire time. When heated (this wrap is, and all Elasto-Gel therapy products are, microwaveable and will not leak if punctured) the Elasto-Gel Therapy Wrap provides moist therapy heat, and when used cold, it provides soothing cold without causing trauma to the skin or nerves. Additionally, when used cold, the wrap will remain soft and flexible even at -20 degrees Fahrenheit, and this wrap will not dry out, become hard, or change form over time.
