Coloplast Atrac-Tain Hand and Body Moisturizing Cream offers superior moisturizing relief for severely afflicted dry, cracked, and/or scaly skin. It contains 10% Urea which moisturizes the skin by increasing the water binding capacity of the epidermis (stratum corneum) and attracting water to dry skin cells, and it also has 4% Alpha Hydroxy Acid (Lactic Acid) which retains moisture thereby increasing the skin's elasticity and resistance to cracking. This cream is also a great exfoliant because it facilitates the sloughing off of dry skin cells while softening and soothing the skin by slowing the evaporation of moisture without blocking pores (non-occlusive emollients) at the same time.
