CURAD Xeroform Gauze Dressings are sterile, nonadherent dressings made from U.S.P. absorbent fine mesh petrolatum gauze that is impregnated with a 3% Bismuth Tribromophenate deodorizing agent. This unique formulation helps to maintain a moist wound bed while also working to minimize odor. These dressings are designed to cling and conform to the wound surface, yet they remain permeable, allowing minimal drainage to pass through to a secondary dressing. The nonadherent nature of the gauze helps prevent secondary dressings from sticking to the wound or surrounding skin, reducing the risk of trauma during dressing changes. CURAD Xeroform is ideal for managing non-draining to lightly draining wounds, such as lacerations, minor burns, skin graft sites, and suture wounds.
