This Drive Adjustable Half-Length Bed Rail is safe and easy to install and specifically designed to comply as part of the FDA Hospital Bed System Dimensional and Assessment Guidance to Reduce Entrapment. Its tool-free width adjustment allows the rail to be adjusted in 2-inch increments from 36 to 42 inches while its 1-inch steel construction with brown-vein finish is both strong and attractive. This rail fits most beds with a steel frame and is ideal for protection when the bed is elevated, but it is not designed for use with "Pan-Style" bed surfaces.
