DynaGinate Calcium Alginate Rope Dressings transform into a soft, gel sheet that contours closely to the wound bed but does not adhere to the wound when they come into contact with wound exudate to create an optimal moist wound environment which is important for optimal healing; plus, calcium alginate encourages natural debridement. These primary dressings are ideal for the management of partial- and full-thickness wounds at stages 3 or 4, and they may be used as topical wound dressings for moderate to high exuding wounds because they absorb up to 17 times their own weight.
