Nutricia IVA (Isovaleric Acidemia) Anamix Next Formula is an amino acid-based, leucine-free, mildly-flavored powdered medical food containing essential and nonessential amino acids, carbohydrates (including a multi-fiber blend to promote digestive health), fats [including docosahexaenoic acid (dha)], vitamins, minerals, and trace elements. It is supplemented with long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids and prebiotic fibers. This unique formula is designed for the dietary management of proven Isovaleric Acidemia (IVA) in individuals over one year of age and as a supplementary feed up to three years of age, and it provides 28 grams of protein equivalent (PE) and 12.5 grams of fat per 100 grams of powder.
