Suresite Matrix Transparent Film Dressings are conformable and won't stick to themselves, and they have a top layer allowing for continuous observation and margin-tracing of the wound. These unique dressings are great for partial-thickness wounds; full-thickness wounds (secondary dressing); peripheral and central I.V. lines; skin tears; lacerations; abrasions; and to help prevent skin breakdown caused by friction to the epidermis. They also feature microporous technology with a variety of delivery systems, but they are not suitable as primary dressings for wounds with moderate to heavy drainage; however, they may be left in place for up to seven days depending on the amount of drainage.
