Enfamil NeuroPro EnfaCare Infant Formula with Iron is a milk-based infant formula designed with enriched nutrition for infants who were born prematurely or with low birth weight; it is typically used during the first 12 months of life for infants from approximately 1,800 grams in weight. This unique formula contains a 80:20 whey to casein ratio patterned after early breast milk; a 20% fat blend created from medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) oil; MFGM (Milk Fat Globule Membrane - a source of fats and proteins previously only found in breast milk); nucleotides patterned after the average free nucleotide level in human milk; and expert-recommended amounts of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid; an omega-3 fatty acid) and ARA (important fatty acids found naturally in breast milk) to support brain and eye development.
