These unique underpads feature a state-of-the-art top sheet that is noticeably softer against skin than traditional non-wovens thus providing a more comfortable experience. The superabsorbent core with "honeycomb technology" is designed to quickly lock in fluid and neutralize unpleasant odors both of which help reduce the incidence of pressure ulcers by reducing friction and shear. Plus, their moisture-vapor-permeable film allows moisture vapor (gas) to transfer away from the patient while protecting bed linens/clothing from bodily fluids thereby leaving the patient drier and more comfortable. These underpads are also ideal for all low air loss support surfaces.
