Gebauer's Ethyl Chloride Topical Anesthetic Spray is intended for topical application to control pain associated with injections; starting I.V.'s and venipuncture; minor surgical procedures; and the temporary relief of minor sports injuries. This stream spray is also intended for use as a counterirritant in the management of myofascial pain, trigger point, restricted motion, and muscle tension, and is FDA approved for use prior to minor surgical procedures such as incision and drainage of small abscesses.
