Hydrofera Blue Antibacterial Foam Dressings

• The Heavy Drainage versions (HBHD4450 at 0.5" thick, HBHD6675 at 0.75" thick) use thicker foam to handle high-output wounds and extend wear time.
• The Ostomy Dressing (HBRF2650) is a 2.5" round with a pre-cut opening, shaped to sit around a stoma or fistula where irritation and periwound bacteria are a concern.

A few things buyers ask: these dressings must be moistened before application if the wound isn't producing enough exudate, and they should never be cut, since the fibers can shed into the wound. The blue color fading toward gray is a normal cue that it's time to change the dressing — typically every one to three days depending on drainage. Because there's no adhesive border, plan on a secondary dressing to hold it in place.
