Critic-Aid Clear AF Antifungal 2% Strength Ointment is a clear, moisture barrier with 2% Miconazole Nitrate as its active, antifungal ingredient. It adheres to denuded and intact skin; is easy to apply and remove; and eliminates moisture. It may be used for perineal skin irritation due to fungal infection and provides all of the benefits of Critic-Aid Clear with the addition of antifungal properties, so it eliminates the two-step application process thus simplifying nursing care and causing less the patient less trauma. It has been proven to be clinically effective in the treatment of most athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris) and ringworm (tinea corporis); thus, it can be used to treat such conditions as superficial yeast infections (candidiasis), athletes foot (tinea pedis), ringworm (tinea corporis) and most jock itch (tinea cruris).
