Description

Mesalt® stimulates the cleansing of heavily discharging wounds in the inflammatory phase by absorbing exudate, bacteria and necrotic material. Can also be used for deep cavity wounds such as pressure ulcers. This effectively facilitates the wound healing process. It should not be used for wounds with little or no drainage. Use with Mepilex Boarder as a cover dressing. Depending on the amount of exudate, Mesalt is normally changed daily, or more often if necessary.
