Xeroform Petrolatum Impregnated Dressing contains 3% Bismuth Tribromophenate in a petrolatum based, fine mesh gauze and has a bacteriostatic action in light exudating wounds. Although it clings and conforms (low profile is used for compression therapy and use in deep and shallow wounds), its non-adherent construction is non-traumatic to the wound and the patient upon removal. This occlusive dressing also helps protect and promote moist wound healing.
