Similac Formulas: Help Your Baby Shine

For over 100 years, Similac from Abbott Laboratories has been developing and producing its line of cow milk and soy-based infant and toddler formulas. The Similac line of formulas is non-GMO and designed to meet the needs of a variety of babies and toddlers including premature babies in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), babies with sensitivities, and toddlers transitioning to solid foods. • NeoSure Infant Formula: This formula is widely used in NICUs for preterm and underweight babies. During their hospital stay, Similac NeoSure augments breastmilk, and after discharge, it helps continue the preemie’s growth and development. With extra calories and enhanced protein, vitamins, and minerals, NeoSure helps preemies catch-up on growth and thrive in the NICU and continue their progress after they go home.
• 360 Total Care Infant Formulas: This is Similac’s core nutrition line, which is available in both powder and liquid form and is suitable for most healthy babies from birth to 12 months. Total Care includes five HMO prebiotics that mimic mother’s milk and support the baby's digestion and immune system, as well as iron and vitamins that boost healthy growth, and eye and brain development. There is also a 360 version with less lactose for babies who are lactose intolerant.
• Sensitive Powder Infant Formula: Designed for lactose intolerant babies, this formula has reduced lactose to ease stomach upsets and fussiness. It contains the essential fatty acids DHA and ARA found in breast milk that helps support brain, eye and nerve cell development.
• Pro-Total Comfort Infant Formula: For babies with more severe digestive discomfort, Total Comfort formula contains smaller proteins and prebiotics to help control the fussiness, spit-ups and gas. This formula also contains immune support as well as DHA (an essential fatty acid found in breastmilk), lutein and vitamin E.
• Alimentum Hypoallergenic Infant Formula: For babies with severe sensitivity to cow’s milk, this formula uses extensively hydrolyzed proteins to provide complete nutrition for growth and development.
• Pure Bliss Infant Formulas: These formulas are premium milk-based formulas that come in both organic and non-organic versions. Like the other Similac formulas, they are designed to mimic mother’s milk and contain the vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids babies need to grow and develop.
• Go and Grow and Pure Bliss Toddler Drinks: These drinks are designed to complement your toddler’s diet by adding nutritional support alongside their daily meals. Although many pediatricians recommend that toddlers have milk or water with their meals, in cases where a child needs supplemental nutrition, these Similac formulas can help if a nutritional deficit is identified.
