An ostomy is a surgical procedure that creates a "stoma" through which a person can eliminate bodily wastes into a pouch. There are three types of stomas: a colostomy, where part of the colon is removed; an ileostomy, where a lower part of the colon is removed; and a urostomy, which is used to drain urine from the bladder. Having a reliable pouch system is key to managing your stoma with confidence. The Hollister New Image ostomy system is a two-piece design, which means a skin barrier or wafer is adhered to the skin for several days and attached via a flange that connects to the ostomy pouch. The New Image system is designed for comfort and security and has all the accessories you need to manage your ostomy with confidence. Honest Medical is proud to offer the following New Image ostomy products:

  • Ostomy Pouches: New Image has pouches for every kind of stoma. Each pouch has a unique floating flange technology that allows you to secure the pouch without pressing on a sore or sensitive abdomen. The system also features an audible clicking sound to confirm your pouch is locked in place. The New Image AF300 filter is an advanced filter that provides consistent gas release and deodorization that prevents the pouch from bulging under clothing.
  • CeraPlus Skin Barrier: The CeraPlus wafer is color-coded to the pouch and infused with ceramide to ensure that the skin is protected by a natural moisture barrier, which prevents skin breakdown.
  • Ostomy Accessories: Hollister New Image also makes a variety of ostomy accessories including stoma irrigation kits, skin barrier paste, stoma powder, and the ostomy belt.
