The Baseline ADA Monofilament Sensory Test is designed for assessing the loss of protective sensation and to detect peripheral neuropathy in otherwise normal feet; it is also useful for detecting changes in a patient's neurological status. This is an individual, 5.07/10 gram monofilament which allows for screening for peripheral nerve impairment and diabetic foot, and this monofilament has a paper handle and is disposable making it ideal for clinics and other multi-patient environments.
