Hydrofera Blue READY Antibacterial Foam Dressings provide broad-spectrum, antibacterial protection via two organic pigments, methylene blue and gentian violet, in open-celled polyurethane foam (PU). They effectively absorb and retain bacteria-laden exudate and keep it away from the wound while providing a barrier to moisture and bacteria. These unique dressings are also non-cytotoxic; help maintain a moist wound environment; and have a wear time of up to 7 days without the use of secondary dressings and/or hydration prior to their application.
